Author's Note
"Even with the Unspoken, whether understood or not, when it Is True then it Is Real." - David Apollo

Depending on your own Embrace of Indoctrinated Preferences Personality Spectrum Ensemble settings, and other of the interacting Filters and their settings that you may have that combine in ensemble to give rise to your behavior, perception, and understanding of the reality you experience ... you will either understand why "indoctrination" is so important ... or you will be nearly completely certain that "indoctrination", while in play, is not nearly so important as several of the other Filters.

It is not my purpose to convince you of "indoctrination's" importance. Rather, you will either work through that yourself, or you will not.

This chapter was initially released on September 21, 2016 as v #1.0. It has undergone a few updates, and is now v #2.1. A clue to a section's last update can be seen by the dates beneath them.

Preface
The Embrace of Indoctrinated Preferences Personality Spectrum Ensemble is both a challenging Filter to write about and a challenging one to contemplate and interpret. To one degree or another, most of us are endowed with this filter. In each of us its level of default expression may be different, either higher or lower, and enabled by slightly different mixtures of the ensemble of components that generate it. While this is true for all of the filters that influence our perception of the environment and relationships we interact with, and our reactions with and to them, this filter is special in a particularly interesting way.

ConserveLiberty will often abbreviate the name of this Filter as The Indoctrination Ensemble.

We start each Personality Spectrum Filter Chapter by reminding the reader several things about the filters, ensembles, and tapestries. Click there.
The biological and genetic basis underlying human personality is expected to be quite complex, with many component parts. By no means should it be construed or implied that the Embrace of Indoctrinated Preferences Personality Spectrum Ensemble is the result of a single gene. Rather, an ensemble of biological parts are necessary to be expressed and put together just right so that a person's individual place on the Indoctrination Ensemble is determined.

Numerous genes are involved, functioning together as an ensemble of filters, which together under the right circumstances result in our ability to learn and embrace habituated perspectives, assumptions, and responses to our environment beyond those that we are born with instinctively.

Much of what we understand about our environment, which influences how we perceive it, is derived from what we learn about it either from others or through our own experiences. Often, we may embrace what we learn as Truth, and thus not challenge it or reevaluate it again. ConserveLiberty refers to this learned perspective as "indoctrination." Indoctrination is dealt with differently by different individuals.

Note that within this resource ConserveLiberty often uses specific terminology in a way that may not be the way it is used commonly by others. (Actually, all of us use language jargon in ways that differ from each other. Sometimes these differences are small, sometimes large. Oftentimes not detected, leading to misunderstandings.) Since the "jargon domain" of languages are necessarily limited, and it is necessary to use words that are used by others, ConserveLiberty may occasionally determine that it is necessary to call out the definition of their meaning as they are to be understood "WITHIN the ConserveLiberty resource."
Important → What, exactly is meant by Indoctrination? ConserveLiberty's use of the term is actually quite simple, and defines INDOCTRINATION here.

All non-instinctual behaviors and perspectives that have been acquired due to learning are considered by ConserveLiberty to be Indoctrination. Indoctrination sources originate either internally (e.g. self-generated, learned) or externally (e.g. exposure to environment, culture, others.)

Those with a strong Embrace of Indoctrinated Preferences Personality Spectrum Ensemble tend NOT to consider alternate positions that are in conflict with their indoctrinated beliefs. Instead, they dismiss facts and perspectives that conflict with their beliefs, not even considering if they should even be considered at all. ← Important
Those of us that strongly express The Indoctrination Ensemble may not be willing to admit that we have such a filter (as it will be described in this chapter) at all. In fact, many of us in this category may be offended at the serious suggestion that we are under its influence. Or, that many others are. On the other hand, those of us who may be ready to contemplate that we have such a filter are at the same time influenced by it. The "truth" regarding this filter and its impact on us may be too different from the narrative that we are comfortable with. We may, therefore, dismiss various aspects that are important to understanding it (and thus ourselves) as irrelevant. Dismissal of things in conflict with our embraced beliefs is a hallmark feature of the Embrace of Indoctrinated Preferences Personality Spectrum Ensemble.

What is actually Real? [Click here] for a good definition from Wikipedia of Reality.

With regard to the word "Real", ConserveLiberty intends to be understood very specifically, and defines REAL here. In each specific situation, there is ONLY ONE actual, factual event that has/is actually occurred/occurring.

We are enabled to understand and respond to our environment through a variety of Filters, assembled differently (a bit) for each one of us. This Filter (e.g. physiological and cognitive wiring) variation leads to numerous differing interpretations and perspectives. Indoctrination also impacts our perspectives AND interpretations. These are often understood (naturally) by many of us to be actually factually REAL.

Yet, each of these judgements are often different. And,
