  • The usual perspective considered by most folks is to consider The Universe as "something for us to live in." Often, narratives suggest it was created for us, or, that we are the highest, or most preferred expression of Creation. We believe this because ... we can! However, alternate views may be more accurate.

  • It may well be that intrinsic to the nature of the Universe, or All That Is, is a tendency towards the formation of living things under some circumstances. And, since the Universe is so unimaginably vast, those circumstances do exist here and there within the Universe from time to time. Including here on Earth right now. And, perhaps, on one of the other bodies within our Solar System (right) as well.

    Similarly, the formations of other phenomena exist within the Universe elsewhere, where those circumstances are just right for those phenomena. And thus we find all sorts of wonderful things in the Universe, consistent with our ability to detect them, and all of them consistent with The Natural Law of All That Is. No laws of nature are ever broken to accomplish anything we find in the Universe. Rather, everything we find within the Universe, including the existence of living things, is perfectly consistent with the Universe unfolding according to all of its natural laws from its very Beginning. If it had a Beginning.

  • To consider how We may have come To Be within the context of this is not yet worked out. However, we understand quite a bit. It may or may not be possible for us to understand all of how The Universe we now know came to be, or how We came to be. If it is not possible, that does not suggest that anything other than our own limitations in either technology, perception, and/or analytical abilities are the explanation for our ignorance on the matter.

  • →   How wonderful it is that we exist and can contemplate and appreciate Creation nonetheless.   ←
