Hi Stella,
I think I have an idea for a new chapter for ConserveLiberty. It's intriguing, but I have no idea how it may work out. I could call it The Meaning of Y. Which means there would also be a "Meaning of X".

I'm not at all in a good position to to write about The Meaning of X at all.

Would you be interested in an X/Y banter now and then? This might take awhile.

David,
You have come up with another interesting topic - The Theory / Meaning of Y.

Would you consider incorporating "Trust" into this chapter as it relates to leaning towards "Y"?

Also, would X and Y ever intersect and what would be the result of such an intersection?

Note #2:
Hi Stella,
Yes, yes, and yes!

We will have a lot of fun with this one, for sure! Especially keeping it Real.

I've been thinking a lot this week on gender and instinctual behavioral differences within and among various species.

This chapter will evolve differently. The why and the how of it will parallel the why and the how of the meaning of X/Y.

ConserveLiberty writes of the Asymmetry of the Filters. For the current chapter, I use the term "dimorphisms" to describe the differences in the filters. I'm not thinking that term best describes what I am after. De-filterisms? I need a better word. Is is possible that someone who is XY can not come up with that?

Can XX?

Note #3:
Hi again Stella,
Stella's Question of the Month (December):

Imagine that no one knows you, and won't! Especially no females will (no males will either.) Now you can say anything that comes to mind and have no care that anyone will comprehend that it was you that said it.

Question: What do you think of when you think about yourself? When Alone? When with Others? When with Males? When with Females? Consider any Males or Females that first come to mind.

Hi David,

What I think of myself when alone (in no particular order of priority or weight):
  • how I can help others ( husband, parents, daughter, friends in need)
  • how to lose those last 5-10 lbs
  • how I wants to just take 1 or 2 hours of alone time to just stop and enjoy Nature - giving full credit to God (especially at lake, or anywhere in the fall, sunsets, water, all phases of the moon)
  • counting my many blessing
  • planning a future fun outing or trip
  • realizing that I am much more confident and comfortable in my shoes in my mid /late 50's. No longer interested in climbing corporate ladder. More selective in choice of friends.
With other females:
  • I am now free to be myself - a little reserved with strangers and a bit silly and totally open with trusted friends
With males:
  • unfortunately more reserved/careful what I say. Male friendships are more superficial and most are filled with humor or sports talk. Not as close as my female friendships because conversations never get deep enough.
Signing off now,

Stella

Note #4:
Hi again Stella,
Questions of the Month (January):

Do you consider your hair (how it looks, etc.,) as an integral part of The You? The Me?

Are there other traits or aspects of your body that you consider to be important components that "define" or "feature" or "brand" who or what you are?

Do the last two questions (above) seem like they are ridiculous questions to even ask?

I realize I am attempting to understand what, paradoxically, I cannot really ever fully understand. I suppose that is what one might call "productive futility" ... paradoxically.

As with all interactions with the muses, I only listen. I don't actually ask. I simply wonder.

Hi David,

Those questions are not ridiculous, and my answers would be "Yes" and "Yes."
