Our Position

Filters
Around the world, for any one type of trait, there are generally "two different kinds of people" at the extremes, with lots in gradation in between.

(This site slices and dices people up in myriads of "two different ways," both as an observation of fact or declaration of belief, and as a literary device in order to make a point.)
  • People who want to rely on themselves, and people who want to rely on others.
  • People who are givers. And people who are takers.
  • People who want to lead. And people who want to be led.
  • Some who are more cautious. Others more laid back.
  • Some whose view of the world is primarily driven by emotional judgements. Some who regard the world more analytically.

At one moment or another, in one circumstance or another, we all find ourselves to be each one of these people. We have to be. But, when at rest (as the physicists might say), we can be described as leaning towards or away from one or another of these terms of behavioral predisposition.

All our predispositions, taken together, combine to create each of our unique personalities. Our own unique signature in our world. No two people come with exactly the same mix. ConserveLiberty refers to these predispositions or traits as "Filters", and they influence how we see and react to the world around us.
