Many people, throughout all of written history including today, are instinctively drawn to expressing gratitude for what they recognize as the "good fortune" that they have experienced which has origins or foundations outside of their sole directed efforts and actions. They may or may not have participated in bringing their good fortune about, but the full explanation for why they are experiencing it lies outside of their own influence. Often, many ascribe the explanations for these Good Fortunes to "God", or "Providence", or "Someone or Something Else acting purposefully for our benefit" or "Whatever."

All Thanks Matter
Quite often, the thankful rhetoric uses the term "God" or "The Almighty", but in reality, most often the person employing the term understands that they really don't know if the "Agent" that they are referencing actually exists the way they think it does, or even if it exists at all. Yet, the "Way We Are Wired" instinctively wants to thank, we are grateful. And when we want to thank, we naturally are drawn to thanking something, and so we simply use the term "God" by default.

"God" is a convenient term. All consider "God" differently Yet, one person can use the term, another hear the term, each considers the term differently, and still both comprehend the intended meaning behind the act of thankfulness, in the abstract, nearly in the same way.

From ConserveLiberty's perspective, the terms "God" or its synonyms are not actually understood as factual references to an actual Preexisting Intendee, but rather to that "Whatever" which All That Is is REAL because of ... the Fundamental Resonance.

OK, enough of that. Consider Gratefully
